Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation window

You can cancel an order free of charge any time before the kitchen cutoff for that meal:

After the cutoff the food is already being prepared and cancellation is not possible.

2. How to cancel

Open the order page → tap the profile avatar (top-right) → Manage Orders → find the upcoming order → tap Delete. Confirm the cancellation; the refund flow runs automatically.

3. How refunds work

How you get refunded depends on how you paid:

3.1 Paid via Svaadh Wallet

3.2 Paid via UPI / Card / NetBanking (HDFC SmartGateway)

When you cancel a gateway-paid order, you'll be asked to choose where the refund goes:

3.3 Split payment (partial wallet + UPI)

Wallet portion is refunded instantly to wallet. The UPI portion is refunded as described in 3.2 (you choose wallet or source).

💡 Important: Funds already loaded into Svaadh Wallet (via a recharge, not as a refund) can only be used to pay for orders on this website. They cannot be withdrawn to UPI / bank.

4. Order quality refunds

If you receive a delivered order that is materially wrong or unfit (wrong item, missing item, spoilage), please WhatsApp us at +91 93222 46765 within 2 hours of delivery with photographs. Each case is reviewed and we may issue a full or partial refund, or a replacement, at our discretion based on the evidence shared.

5. Kitchen-closed days

If the kitchen is closed on a day you have already ordered for (e.g. due to a public holiday or unforeseen closure), all affected orders for that day are auto-cancelled and refunded as per the matrix above — wallet-paid orders go back to wallet instantly, UPI/card-paid orders enter the manual UPI refund queue.

6. Disputes

If you don't hear back on a refund within 2 working days, please escalate by emailing svaadh.kitchen@gmail.com with your order ID.
